WHO WE ARE
Born from a love of competitive target archery, the mental clarity that archery instills, and a band-of-misfits mentality, Central Florida Archery is an archery range and pro-shop owned and operated by archers, for archers - and for anyone curious enough to pick up a bow. We honor the culture archery comes from while continuing to grow the sport, creating a space for adventure, connection, and community. Intrigue is the entry point, belonging is what we build together.
A BRIEF HISTORY
Apopka, Florida 2012. Archer, Coach, and visionary, Hendrick Gouws built an environment for students, archery enthusiasts, hunters, and misfits alike in a small cabin with a few targets in the back yard, a bow press, and a dream - revitilizing archery as a sport.
After moving several locations, helping grow the local OAS (Olympic Archery in Schools) programs, and training successful competetitve archers, Central Florida Archery has settled in Occoee, Florida with the same mission - to grow archery in our community and create a safe, fun, and family friendly place to train, focus, and experience some adventure.
